Priceless landed the Temple Stakes at Haydock this afternoon and in the process sent the Scoop6 win fund rolling for the second successive week.

Clive Cox’s four-year-old ensured big pots will be up for grabs on Derby day with £108,891 starting in the win fund while the bonus fund stands at £372,048.

Earlier in the afternoon victories for the fancied trio of Yorkidding, Dal Harraild and Rusumaat saw 319 tickets make it to the halfway stage before Sutter County’s success at Goodwood meant only 29 made it to the big sprint handicap at York where just the solitary ticket was on the gambled on winner Copper Knight. The single line still in play was relying on Take Cover in the finale but the ten-year-old could not sustain the gallop after blazing an early trail.

Mark Johnston provided three of the winners from the six legs involved.

Totepool Spokesman Matt Hulmes said “A second successive win fund rollover means one of the most famous weekends in the racing calendar takes on a new dimension with Derby Day now hosting an estimated £600,000 Scoop6”.

There were 18 winners of the place fund each collecting £1092.30
