Saturday’s totescoop6 pools could touch £500,000 after the bonus fund proved out of reach for Grand National day winner Chris Jones at Haydock last weekend.

It leaves the bonus pool standing at £283,907 heading into the weekend, while the win fund looks certain to climb beyond £100,000 as it tees off with £68,898 in the pot.

The races for players to focus on come from Ayr and Newbury, with the highlight being leg six – the 30-runner Coral Scottish Grand National – set to go off at 3:55pm.  Every leg will be shown live on ITV.

Betfred boss Fred Done is also stumping up a £100,000 bonus if there is a single winner from one of the following qualifying channels – Betfred shops, betfred.com and mobile, totesport.com and mobile, or at the racecourse with totepool

totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “There’s cracking racing up and down the country this weekend and the Scoop6 will only add to the excitement with a decent rollover up for grabs.”

The totejackpot takes in races 1-6 at Ayr on Saturday, while the Be Wiser Insurance Spring Cup Handicap (3:40 Newbury) has been selected as the totetrifecta rollover race.
